Essential (always on)

One cookie, apklive_consent, just remembers the choice you make in the banner (or below) for 180 days, so we don't ask again on every visit. The site doesn't work without it being possible to set this cookie, so it isn't covered by the accept/reject choice — there's nothing to track here, it only stores your preference.

Analytics (only if you allow it)

If you accept, we load Google Analytics (GA4) and/or Google Tag Manager, which set analytics cookies (typically named things like _ga, _ga_*, or _gid) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which app listings get clicked. Nothing in this category loads until you accept, and rejecting (or not choosing) means none of it runs.

Third-party cookies

Clicking a "Get" or "Download" button takes you to Google Play, the App Store, or (for open-source apps) F-Droid or the project's own site — each of those may set their own cookies once you land there. That's covered by their policies, not this one.

What we don't use cookies for

Click tracking on outbound "Get"/"Download" links (logged in our clicks table — see the Privacy Policy) is recorded server-side per request and doesn't rely on a cookie. We also don't use cookies for advertising personalization yet — if that changes when ads are added to the site, this page will be updated first.
